20-23 July 2019 - Experience summer on Vancouver Island

1,090.00

There is more to see on Vancouver Island than touristic Victoria and Tofino. This summer, explore the East coast of Vancouver Island!

Old-growth forests, moss covered stumps and trees, stunning bluffs, sandy beaches, rocks carved by the tide, waterfalls and a variety of birds and wildlife… you will have the possibility to photograph them during this workshop and also learn about the key elements of composition, use of light, creativity and workflow. Be prepared to spend most of your time in the field, where you can practice as the lessons are being taught. We will be up early to take advantage of the best possible light and wildlife activity. As a local professional photographer, I know the right places and times to observe nature and wildlife.

What to expect

Expect a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere and lots of photographic instructions. My time is entirely dedicated to you. I rarely use my camera other than to demonstrate a technique or settings. My goal is for you to get the best possible images. The low participant-to-instructor ratio (5 to 1) also encourages more one-on-one instruction time.

Contact me with all your questions and tell me about your goals and level of experience.

I am looking forward to show you some of my favourite places on Vancouver Island for wildlife, old-growth forests, and rivers.

Limited to 5 participants.
